About me I guess this means.

Well, I’m 53 and a 16 handicap. I belong to the NCGA and I’ve chose that after playing mediocre golf for the last 15 years, I would finally spend my free time working on my game.

Know that I have never been a fantastic player. I like to play and I even like to hit balls at the range but I have never been better than a 14 handicap.

Until now that is. My plot is to document my progress here at least until I’m a single handicap.

Tips, comments, golf jokes are all welcome here. The only thing that isn’t is discouragement. That will not get any of us where we want to be.

Membership provides each junior with access to club activities and NCGA handicap service. We have a fun schedule of events that include monthly tournaments and clinics, free golf camps, summer playday, driving range and green fee discounts.

The purpose of the Vallejo Kids On Course GC is to promote and encourage a recreational activity for juniors through the game of golf. The program curriculum focuses on life skills and values, golf skills, etiquette and rules of golf.
